We offered assistance to a young mother and two children and after a difficult year, they are on their own now.
We sponsored the Bookmobile, a summer literacy project bringing books and food to children in the Columbia Falls school district.
We created welcome kits for refugees arriving in Missoula through Soft Landings Missoula and drove them down there in conjunction with NorthRidge Lutheran Church and the human rights group Love Lives Here.
Midyear, we also raised money through the Guest At Your Table program to send to our UU Service Committee nationally in Boston.
We also sent funds to the Unitarian Universalist United Nations office and Betsy and Dan Kohnstamm visited the office in June to talk with theif office interns. Their office manager will be our guest speaker in March of 2019.
