Local songwriter Old Sap invites you to join him for a service that harmonizes Eastern mysticism with Western folk music. Raised Catholic, Sap finds guidance in his poetry and performance through the teachings of Taoism and Buddhism. From the stories of Chuang Tzu to his own interpretations of the Gospel, the banjoist bends us away from concepts of the divine and encourages us to relish the Tao through song, story-telling, and laughter. He will be joined by service leader and guitarist Mellow Waters (AKA Ned Cooney).
