10 a.m. Sundays / 1515 Trumble Creek Kalispell

for  Sunday 10/7

Visiting minister

Rev. Meg Riley

“Love is the Doctrine

of This Church”

If we side with love or try to

live on the side of love,

what does it mean about how

we live our actual

day to day lives? An exploration

of what it means

to be lovers in a world where

hate is promulgating.

Followed by soup and bread

lunch provided by GUUF
Noon:  Workshop

led by Rev. Meg Riley
When Hope Is Hard to Find
These are tough times.

How do we stay hopeful

and active when all around us

are messages that tell us

to give up, that resistance

is futile?  How do we keep

from perpetuating burnout

and despair in our work

for justice?

This interactive workshop

will allow time for personal

and small group reflection

as well as larger group

experiences and discussion.

 “B.Y.O.T.”    (Building Your Own Theology)

An Adult Religious Education Class continues on every other Thursday (for a total of 10 sessions) at 6 p.m.
You may join in at any time.
October sessions will be held on the 11th & 25th at 6 pm at GUUF
The books have arrived and Al and I hope that some of you will join us.   The author suggests that theology is the reflection on religion, that core of meanings, values, and convictions out of which we live our lives.  He suggests that religious education is that lifespan process of growing them. Al suggests that theology results from our thirst for meaning and place.
If you are interested please let us know.
